We are using an order level reprice adjustment to calculate the freight
based upon the sales order totals. A freight line added to the details
through the advanced pricing as a line type F. In some cases freight is
taxable. It is my understanding that Vertex keys off of a category code in
the Item Master for determining if the item is taxable. Is this correct ?
Can it be configured to key off the line type definition to determine if it
is taxable or not ? or do I have to create an Item called freight ? Anyone
have an idea on how to handle this.
