Hey All,
Ok I think I am about to take the plunge to upgrade to JDE 5. WE are still very early in our implementation process with an expected Go live to Jan. 2004. Since JDE claims that support for Xe will end in February 2005, we sort of figure that it may be worthwhile to upgrade to JDE 5 now rather than wait. Since no actual development is being done currently.
Yesterday JDE came out with a list of known upgrade issues OTM-03-0002. However I need to sort of put a time line together with the necessary tasks and estimated time for each task. Is there someone out there who has done an upgrade to ERP 8 that can give me an idea as to a timeline and any other issues apart from those mentioned on the doc. that I may potentially run into?
