What is the frequency to reboot Enterprise server?

Hi ,
I am at a client and they insist not to reboot our Enterprise server unless I furnish a detailed prof or recommandations of doing so. Our SQl server has not been rebooted in 3 months. Users complaint about performance. So I requested to reboot now and at least once every two weeks but they do not want to listen.
Do you have any documents that talks about Hung services or Processes that slow down the SQL server and requires to reboot??

Many thanks

KHosi :

I don't have a document on that, but the main reason to reboot
periodically our servers is memory fragmentation.
JDE, SQL and W2K-NT intensively allocate and deallocate memory and
that slowly degrades performance.
There are also memory leaks (Oh my God!) on these 3 products that
decrease free memory and can be cured only by : fixing code (hahaha!)
or booting periodically.
My customers reboot their servers on a weekly basis.
