V5R1 and performance

We just upgraded our AS400 from V4R5 to V5R1. I have been getting complaints about bad response time. Are there any issues? Is there something I can look for?

Did you put the on required database PTFs for V5R1?

Are you using the auto-tuner? If you weren't you may have had it turned on as part of the upgrade. We have found this to bias towards interactive greenscreen.

We do not use it.

On our production box we don't have any Interactive and it screams ...so
far. The development box has less dasd, memory and does have
Interactive and also seems quite fast... as long as debug is turned
off..

did you check the configuration before and after?
We had no problems when we upgraded to V5R1. Performance was as good or bad as before as far as I know.
