ERP8 and HTML

Has anyone implemented HTML on ERP8? It is my understanding that all necessary software is included with ERP8, as per the agrrement with IBM. Is this true? Do we just purchase the ERP8 software and everything is included?

Thanks,

From my understanding, JDE has re-configured their Foundation suite to include the pricing of the WebSphere suite. So, if you are buying now, WebSphere should be included. If you are an exisiting customer, there's an upgrade price.

One thing that I'm not sure of is if you are a SQL 2000 shop and want to use that as your WebSphere repository. I believe there's a 3rd party software that needs to be purchased for that and I'm not sure if that's included.

Matthew,

Yes and no. As an option, you can purchase the WebSphere portal, which
inclueds the HTML client. I just completed an install of the JAS server for
ERP8, we installed before the JDE/IBM alliance was completed, and the
install was a breeze. But now my client has just bought the Portal Bundle
and I will be installing that within the next month or so. I will let you
know how that works out.

Andy
