CHanging an Enterprise Server ( from NT to 2000)

Hi I am trying to do an upgrade of an Enterprise system from NT based system to a brand new 2000 ( a new machine is being added). Now I am planning to do the following.

Take the old NT enterprise server down.
After instaling 2000 with the same name and all the prequisite soft, I run the installation of host code here and create all the the database from the backup .
Next I copy all the directories from Old machine to new machine.
Run port test .
I would like to know If I am missing any thing in my step.

Don't forget to install the same level of SP for C++, DBMS, OS, IE and
MDAC; and be sure not to forget ODBC entries.

Thanks for the info, I was planning to have all of them in place.
