Vertex and products

Hello, List,
Can somebody advise me how to set a product in JDE for Vertex, please?

What I have: Vertex and JDE work together in our test system.

Situation: Taxes are calculated incorrect. The whole bunch of products and
services is taxed. For example, it is wrong for California because some
services are not taxable there.

Possible source of trouble (as I think): Somewhere in JDE some
products/services weren't set up properly. So Vertex taxes by default based
on GeoCode.

Request for advice: could somebody give me an example/real reference how to
establish a link between a product in JDE and Vertex, please?

Use the Tax Decision Maker of Vertex to determine what is NOT to be taxed based on the Category Codes set up in your Constants option on menu G731. See attached
