CSMS Question

We are going to be using CSMS internally but it looks like we need to
setup Customers which would be everyone in our existing Address Book.
Is there anyway to set these up automatically or in bulk without having
to go into the Address Book and select the CSMS Exit bar for every
entry.

TIA.

Grant.

You need to set up users and customers as service providers. The file is
F1797, and you need to populate the TimeBasis Code, along with a couple of
other fields that populate automatically when you put the record in. You
could key in one record, look at the F1797 file to see what is populated.
Then use Sequel or SQL to create records for the rest of your Address Book
and add them to the F1797 file using CPYF. This is how we loaded them. In
addition, I plan to create any new records needed nightly and load them this
way to be sure they're there when needed.

Thanks for some of the technicals. We'll have to look into it. A
definite timesaver.
Yes, getting new AB records in automatically hopefully is another
issue.
