Production Reporting via Barcodes

I would like to start reporting production(Work Order Completions) via bar codes and I have a couple questions:
1) Can we report production without referring to the Work Order #? (My customer's labels won't have our WO # on them).
2) Can JDE allow a label serial number to be scanned to prevent duplicate scanning of the same label?

Hi Bear!
Are you in the print industry? If so do you not sell by box/roll/sheet
and would you not put some form of "code" on each?

In general the answer to you question is no JDE is WO centric - although
rate/process based can be sort of massaged into a semblance of what you
are after.
