I've posted this before with no feedback, but I've since learned more about
the problem and the specific results. Here's what I know now...
I have a problem with my R46171 susbsystem. From time to time with no
apparent pattern it will hang on a line in a Task and generate that trip 100
times. It can happen in Putaways, Picks, or Replenishments. That steers me
away from the R46471 R46472 and R46473. The common link is the R46171.
This is what I've determined so far:
When the loop occurs, a trip on the task will duplicate 100 times in the
F4611 table. In F41021, the LIPCOM qty's for all trips on the task are all
reduced by the correct amounts, but the LIHCOM for the affected location
(and LIQTRI for S.. when it's a Pick) do not always get updated. Sometimes
none of them are updated, sometimes it's a mix. The F4602 table is updated
correctly for all Trips.
Furthermore, any Tasks generated after this loop occurs and before I
stop/restart the R46171 subsystems do not have any commitment moves done at
all.
All of the KG Docs refer to perpetual loops, not just 100 records and I've
already applied all the ESU's referenced in those Docs. ANybody ever see
this before? I've begun stopping and restarting the Subsystems each evening
for about a week now and the problem has not recurred yet, but it's too
early to tell if that's actually helping or not.
