Security Server

We are trying to "turn on" security server. Receiving error The username and/or password supplied is incorrect (from jde.log) when attemting to sign on. Searched the forum, couldn't find anything. Have verified F98OWSEC is in my datasource with the correct user records and the correct "system" user" and verified OCM mappings. Services "bounced". SecurityServer=ES name is correct.

Any ideas?

Make sure you have a security record setup for each of the users that are
attempting to login to OneWorld. Also make sure that you put you security
server information in your 'client' jde.ini file(s).

Have you modified your enterprise server jde.ini file to reflect your security server and then bounced your services? Can you successfully run porttest?

Also, make sure you have a User defined in the server JDE.INI and a password. For us, we use OWPROXY as our user.

this can be found near the end of the .INI under the [SECURITY] section.
