E-mail and Push Install

Does anyone know what it takes to set up notification of push install success or failure? Either JDE mail or otherwise? Where can I find some information? Does anyone have this working? How do you know if it successful?

I have found that the push installation is very unreliable. For instance, if there is not enough disk space on the target client and the install fails, the PDF will report success. I did have workflow checking the success of the package build, then it would deploy the code to the logic servers & Fat clients (You cannot push install to Cistrix Servers), and mail the appropriate people of the success, but I never took it to production as the PDF is not always accurate.
