OneWorld Clustering on AS400

Is anyone out there running OneWorld in a clustered AS400 environment? Do you deploy packages to both nodes or do you replicate all necessary files? What is your logical datasource setup?

I had a base install. Then ran a plan to add another enterprise server as the secondary node and installed JDE on that server. Now I am about to go and modify data sources and OCM mappings to point to the clustered name. Do you see anything wrong with this process?

Thanks!

But why would you need clustering with the AS/400? I hear that they never fail....

Yes AS/400's seldom fail but they still need maintenance (much less often).
OS upgrades, PTF's (hot fix to NT people) and the occasional IPL (reboot to
NT people) are required. AS400's are also subject to hardware failures just
like any other machine out there

Clustering does not guarantee that your system will be 100% available all of
the time. Clustering assures quicker up time and minimal interruption to
your Business.

Search the knowledge garden for 'Clustering'. There are some great IBM
iSeries Solutions
