How to use fax capabilities in JDE

Hi I have been told that , JDE provides FAx capabilities. I woul dlike to know how to use it

To my knowledge OneWorld has no built-in FAX capability. Third party software is required with interfacing work of course on your part.

You have to print the PDF files, and then walk them over to the fax machine yourself.. I wish this was included as part of OW, it sure would be nice...

We use Optio and a third party application to JDE. We use the OptioDCS,
AdminFax, Optio Fax Server running Brooktrout. It works great.

Or better, print them to your fax server.

Also, you can set up some 3rd party tools such as Formscape to route pdf documents to a fax server.

One other option is to set up a cheap Efax or other similar account, which allows you to fax by email. Subject=fax number, etc.
Then you could use the built in email capabilities, passing the necessry variables to the email for a successful send...
