Re: PDF files on C:\\, Citrix

Dear JDElist,

Thank you all for your valuble information, but the issue still remain
(it still 'put down' the Acrobat workfile on the C:\).

What we have done for the moment as a workaround,
is to 'hide' the C:\ for the users ....

Thank you again for your support.

Best regards
Mats Thunholm

It's the Windows environment variable.
Right-click on My Computer/Properties/Advanced/Environment Variables.
Now that I think of it though, I may have answer a citrix question with an
Enterprise Server answer when I said to change the env var.

Re: PDF files on C:\\, Citrix

"Is it possible to put these files in an other dir. (like c:\wtsrv\temp) ??"
Yes.

"Can it be done by a jde.ini setting ??"
Yes. In the ini file, go ahead search words NETWORK QUEUE SETTINGS and look for "OutputDirectory=". If you do not have one, add it in and modify it as below:

OutputDirectory=C:\wtsrv\temp

(Make sure the wtsrv and temp folders exist in C:\.)

Ask user to log off OneWorld, sign back in and go ahead to view a UBE PDF from OneWorld Submitted Jobs.

To verify the location of the PDF after viewing, go to OneWorld Explorer menu and click on the drop down menu "View", “User Options”, “View Local Output” and then click on the down arrow symbol to see the file path. Lets assume all users have the proper security clearance.

You should also make sure the jde.ini file you modified is the one used by the user and the one distributed to all users if the full package is deployed.

Does your user have his/her own directory on the share drive with his/her jde.ini file? If so, after you delete the jde.ini file for that user in his/her directory, next time he/she logs in to OneWorld the system jde.ini file should automatically bring it down into his/her directory.
