Data Selection failing on only 1 Terminal Server

I have a weird problem that is only happening on 1 (of 5) terminal servers in our Citrix farm. When some users run AP or AR reports, they are sometimes unable to set the right operand in the data selection. It happens on random reports to random users at random intervals (thus I have not been able to retrieve any logs). All other servers process normally.

I have reloaded the last full and update package, but the problem still occurs. I have been unable to relicate the issue myself, with test user accounts.

Has anyone ever had a problem like this?

Thanks,
Andy

Andy,

Since you have reloaded the latest full and update packages I would venture
a guess that it may be user profile related. Do some of the users on this
'box' function correctly on other boxes? I would test that if you haven't
already. Also, you may want to ensure that all Citrix configuration
matches and that the JDE.INI in the ntsrv (or whatever you named it)
directory matches one of the servers that works correctly.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Thanks,
James

I have before, and the solution was to remove the package through add/remove and then reinstall. Just re-installing will not remove all specs.

maybe you did this already, and if you have--sorry for the advice!

Best wishes

Thanks guys,
The same users that work fine on all other servers are failing on this server. They are in a variety of security groups, and are in a variety of locations throughout the country.

I will try Uninstalling OneWorld completely, and replacing the JDE.INI file with the last full and update packages on my reload.

I did find out that the W2K domain adminstrator is using the server as a backup domain controller (which I was told that JDE did not recommend). Has anyone had any issues with a terminal server running as a backup or primary domain controller?

Andy,

Don't forget to search your registry for OneWorld entries too after you
have removed OneWorld via the Add/Remove Programs application.

Good luck.
