Re: PDF files on C:\\, Citrix

Yes, we have done the same, it works great, but when a user view a PDF
(from inside OneWorld) the Acrobat
put the PDF mbr from the ES down to the 'root dir' (C:\) on the TSE and
then in the next step Acrobat copy the PDF
to the 'Printqueue' (you never see these two steps it looks like on step
from outside Acrobat) .
We want now to secure our 'root' dir on our Citrix Servers, but now I have
discovered that Acrobat use the
'root' C:\ to store the 'work PDF file' in the 'root' before it's copied to
the Printqueue.
I wonder if there is a setting or something ..... to let Acrobat put that
intermediate file in an
other dir (i.e. c:\temp ......) ??

What about the rest of you, have you locked out the C:\ for the users or
can they add/delete tables there ?

Best regards

In the JDE.INI file there is a parameter in [NETWORK QUEUE SETTINGS]. The
parameter is "OutputDirectory=". We mapped an "O" drive (for One
World--ha, ha) for each user. This way all they can see are the PDF files
they viewed. It gives every user their own PrintQueue.
