Resource Busy

This is an intermittent problem, there are times my users run UBE that ends in ERROR. In the log it shows:

TAM: tamfopen /PD7333/specfile/bobspec.ddb error 3029-Std C errno=3029 : Resource busy.

I'm not sure what causes this, please respond. Thanks.
 
Typically when you get this error it means something is using that file. A backup or replication tool like mimix. If you are not on V5R1 or higher you cannot save the IFS while active.

We have/had the same problem. The cause to our problem is/was that we have
a 3:rd party
product to run our 'rapid recovery' (mirroring). When we switched off the
mirroring on /PD7333 (IFS),
the error disappeared .....
Are you using 3:rd party products to do mirroring ?.....................
