upgrade to ERP8

I have asked this in other forums, so please excuse me if you already saw this. I would appreciate if you had the experience of upgrading to ERP8 and if it had an impact on the HW size (was there the need of upgrading the HW just for the matter of SW upgarde ?).
So far I understood from one experience that the HW reamain the same, but while waiting for my HW supplier input I need some input from experience.

It would help to know what version of OW you are on, and what the specs of your current hardware are. There is no good way to answer this question without this information.

Right ! We are running on B7332 with our hardware that was first sized
for Xe. The recommendation first was to move to Xe but since ERP9 will
mean stoping the support for Xe (as now is happening with B7332) the
suggestion was going for ERP8.

Asuming we will not move from the basics for a medium term, but only
doing the upgrade should the original HW support the new version ?

Again with the specs !

Enterprise HW is an Intel based 4x700Mhz with 2Mb RAM. Array 5 with 10
disks each of them 18Gb. Additional 4 x 9Gb harddrives hold the OS and
SQL logs. Deploy and WTS were oversized from the beginning and I hope
those should not offer any trouble.

We are not running advanced prices and just basic finance, distribution
and manufacturing.
