This might be a quick one (I hope)...
We usually use Acrobat Reader to view and print our output, but I would
like to be able to have certain UBE's that run (from a 3rd party scheduler)
on the logic server using runube.exe, to be able to print immediately.
I am running this from the bin32 folder, and the syntax that I am using is:
runube USER PASSWORD ENVIRONMENT REPORT VERSION QBATCH Interactive Print
Save \\server\printer
The job runs, and a pdf is generated, but nothing prints.
This worked last week, and all that was changed was that a new package was
deployed.
In addition, I had been able to print from 'Submitted Job Search' by
highlighting the completed job and hitting the Row/Print button.
Now, this doesn't work, either (it did last week).
I am not seeing any errors, and I am able to print to the specified printer
from any other machine, simply by using the copy command to print a text
file to the UNC of the printer share.
Services had not been restarted when the package was deployed, but I did
restart them as a troubleshooting measure, but it did not make any
difference.
Thanks,
