Hi there,
I have a customer who is using B7332, his environment are not reliable …also he want to upgrade to XE.
I am really confusing about how to do this, I heard a lot of problems upgrading from b7332 to XE, so I am thinking to make a fresh installation for XE then carrying out just the business data to the new installation..!!!!… but I am not sure if the database tables structure are different.
Could you please tell me if I could do that, or does any body have another good scenarios?
thanks

Just about all of the bugs are out in the B7332 to XE process. Stick with this. The only problem I had was the Format Tabs. I had to wipe these out and re-create them. Everything else was flawless.

Hi,

Whatever you do don't do what you suggested unless you want to manually do all the table conversion and table creations. There isn't many problems with upgrades from B7332 to XE. Hopefully they haven't modified many JDE objects.

Hello, Hatemmk,
It is better to do the upgrade. Really XE upgrade is a fresh installation +
data migration. So I would do an upgrade.
