EDI Ship Confirm

Hi all,

Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Does anyone have any ideas on this.....

I receive a text file from a third party warehouse. This file will contain
all orders that have been Shipped.

Does anyone have any ideas that will help me process that file into JDE One
World (B733.2 sp11.1).

My idea at the moment is to convert the Ship Confirm (P4205) to run in batch
and process the above file as the input data !!!! Simple !

Regards

Hi,

You don't need to do this. If you look in the system you will find a UBE
named R42500. Which is already doing that in Batch. the only thing you have
to be carefull is that it will confirm everything. What this program does
it confirm's all order that you select with the quantity in SOQS. If you
have less quantity or backorder what you do is you change the quantity in
that field for the real quantity and you place the rest in Backorder
quantity SBQS(if my memory is good). Later on if you have the remaining
quantity to confirm you will have to generate special logic to search for
the backorder quantity on your order. Since JDE is putting the remaining
quantity on another line it will renumber that line to something that looks
like this 1.100, 1.200, 1.300... finnally since the status will be at 904
on your order line quantity you will have to change it to the right status
(it should be 540 560). This depend on your status flow setup.

I'm sorry if my english is not perfect.

Enjoy

Michel
