R4101Z1I is giving me an ulcer

Hi List,

I hope someone has encountered this problem already.

I am trying to import my Item Master records from my legacy system. I can import data from the F4101Z1, and from the F4101Z1A for Item Master records no problem. For Branch/Plant records if I only populate F4101Z1 I can import them no problem. If I populate the F4101Z1A for my Branch/Plant records I get this error in my work center:

Error: Record Invalid
CAUSE . . . . The record being processed either already exists for an 'ADD'
function or does not exist for an 'INQUIRY', 'CHANGE' or
'DELETE' function.
RESOLUTION. . If you are attempting to inquire, change or delete a record you
previously added, there may be data base problems in your
production library. You should notify your data processing
department.


The only difference between the Item Master records in the F4101Z1A and the B/P F4101Z1A is SZITBR (change from 1 to 2) and I populate the SZMCU with the Branch Plant value I want to use.

If anyone has hit this one before, please let me know what I doing wrong.
