order security and customers

We just took the latest address book ESU and seem to be having problems with our security. We have certain users that are restricted to only company 4 things. Before taking this ESU they could enter orders for customers even though the customer wasn't in company 4. Now they are not able to enter orders for customers other than ones in company 4. We do not want to have different address book numbers for each company but we also don't want employees from company 4 to be able to change address books for other companies.

Is this possible and if so is there a special way we have to have our row security set up
