Monitoring JDE Services

We are looking for an alternative to SAW for monitoring JDE services on our enterprise server. Does anyone know of an alternative? We have an IP port monitoring utility to monitor the server for availability, but cannot get it configured to monitor port 6009.

our "cheap"solution to ensuring that OneWorld is up and running at night is to have a script run at night on a scheduled basis (via cron) that checks for the existence of known critical processes. If any are missing then an error message is sent to a "special" optio printer that causes the responsible I.T. people to be paged. Its not a 100% solution - but so far its caught 99% of the outages.
