punctuation problem in amount field

Hi,
I have some problem in amount field.I am doing project for indian company.The base currency is INR.In amount field
the puncatutaion is like this
for ex
100,000,000
in millions
but i want to change the puncataion like
10,000,00
like this
is there any way to change how to over come this problem
plz help me

to change the separator character.
