Electronic Signatures

Does anyone know what capabilites JDE has is supporting electronic
signatures in accordance with FDA requirements ?

E-signatures is planned be delivered to OneWorld via SP21 along with the
audit trials.

3. JD Edwards Update, Penny Schumacher, JD Edwards Liaison to L/S SIG:
*21CFRpart11 Audit Manager now in use for WorldSoftware. Asked if
any of the beta testers are currently using this enhancement, Ray Lai,
Wyeth-Ayerst, said they are still working on performance issues. Jim M.
indicated that CCL Custom Mfg. has it "live" and working properly without
any appreciable effect on the AS400 performance.

The need for e-signatures is know to JD Edwards (will work
on this after release of Audit Manager for One World). One solution may
be
found with Innovatum's DataThread http://www.innovatum.com/datathread.htm
Also, Vince Rancuret said CCL Custom Mfg. has developed an enhancement
that
uses "pop-up" window for e-signature/approvals.

*21CFRpart11 Audit Manager now in beta for OneWorld, should be ready
for release in December.
