Ok...here is my question
We have quite a few fat clients running Win NT 4.0 we also use InoculateIT for virus protection. Non of our NT users have admin rights to their PC therefore they do not have access to stop and start services on their PC's. Here is what I'll like to do....since with the scan on package builds take a very long time for some users up to an hour.....and since JDE does not force a re-boot after the install I was wondering if there is a way that I can make the install pop up a message after it is finished to restart the PC. I want to create a local admin account on the PC's that is invisible to the users and use switched that will somehow enable this account when they accept a package, stop the virus service accept the package and force a restart after the package deploy is finished. Now all this needs to happen invisible to the user with the exception of the restart message.
Does anyone have any ideas if this is possible?
