Deployment Server Name Change

We are attempting to change the name of our DS following the directions in JDE Doc # OTI-99-0057. We did the updates to tables F00942, F00945, F983051 and F9861 as the document instructs. However, when we try to deploy a package, we get a message that this package has already been successfully deployed. We have found F9650 and Media Objects defs which still reference the old DS name. What else have we missed? Does anyone have a REAL 'complete list' of where we need to change the DS name? This doc is obviously incomplete.

Additionally, we will soon be changing the hardware of our DS and the new box will have only 2 partitions (C and D) whereas the old box had 3 (C, D, and E). JDE was installed on the E drive on the old box but will be on the D drive of the new box. Step 4 says to do a tape restore of JDE to the original drive letter, but that won't be an option. Has anyone changed DS and the drive letter at the same time? Any Tips, Traps or Gotchas?

TIA

Hello Tia,
My english I very bad.
I try to do the same thing because I want to make a crash test with the
deploment server.
I take the JDE Doc # OTI-99-0057 and verified that the modification are
good. But a consultant with help us to install OneWorld in our system asked
me that i mudt update a lot of tables .
I make a list and many tables must update, the tables are in the libraries :
DD7333, COJD7333, CODV7333, COPY7333, COPD7333, JD7333, DV7333, PY7333,
PD7333, SVM7333, B7333SYS, PRISTCTL, PRISDTA, TESTCTL, TESTDTA, CRPCTL,
CRPDTA, PRODCTL, PRODDTA ; but I don't know how many tables would modified
and how many time would take to do this.
For instance, I haven't change the deployment server's name, I try to do
another solution.
For your problem, try to deinstall OneWorld on your DS, then you change the
DS's name and the number of DS's partition, then your do a OneWorld first
install on your DS.
Good luck.

Charles,
I do not have a complete list for you but maybe I can still help:
The old DS´s name is kept in all Workstation´s JDE.INI files as well as
in all WS´s registries. I would reinstall full packages (run setup.exe
from the new DS) to all WS´s. Before that edit
b7333\OWClientInstall\misc\jde.ini .

Your second question: if you want to move your DS´s OW installation from
drive E: to D: I would suggest two methods:
1. Install OW from CD to Drive D:. Install OW files only, no pathcodes,
no database stuff.
Then copy E:\jdedwardsoneworld\b7333 on top of
D:\jdedwardsoneworld\b7333 or restore from tape to the new location.
Or
2. Edit the DS´s \windows\jde.ini and change all occurances of E:\ to D:\.
Edit the registry key JDEdwards\Oneworld\Install.ini\B7333\InstallPath
from E:\jdedwardsoneworld\b7333 to D:\jdedwardsoneworld\b7333.

Good luck, Gerd
