Please help, ALL UBE hangs on a \'W\' status

[frown]
Hallo, I have big trouble with UBEs.
We running OW XE SP19, UPD4, Oracle 8, WIN NT – 2yers. To SP19 and Update 4 we update system at begin of this year. Nearly everything was working fine.
Now 6 days ago all UBE start hangs on a ‘W’ status. I check everything, in logs I do not see any errors, porttest runs fine, I try to stop and restart one services by one slowly, restart server and start services again, remove services and install them again, no success. I tried to run different UBEs on the different Queues, from different environments, nothing helps.
I did not make any change in system, or *.INI file – nobody did, it happened trough holydays. It seems to me, that all is THE same, just UBE are in status ‘W’. WHY?

Localy on client everythink working normaly.....

Do anyone have experience with this issue? Can anyone help?

Thank you for any ideas and helps,

Martin.

Re: Please help, ALL UBE hangs on a \'W\' status

I can't tell what's going wrong from these server logs. I think you'll have to turn on UBE debug logging, and see what logs you get from the UBE after you try to launch it.

All I see from here is that the UBE is submitted, and the UBE kernel inserts a record into F986110 that the UBE is now in "W" status. But that's where it ends, it doesn't say anything else, and I think we'll need the UBE debug logs for that.

Re: Please help, ALL UBE hangs on a \'W\' status

I would try the following things
1. Make sure the JDEqueue processes are runnings by looking at process tab in Task manager( sometimes it happens that JDEQueue service seems to be running, but JDEQUeue process does not run.. this may happens if you have changed the password of JDE user).
2. Make you that free space is available on your C drive.

Hope this help

What system are you on?
If on as400 maybe your printqueue file is filled up.

Re: Please help, ALL UBE hangs on a \'W\' status

whooops doesn't look too good.

Maybe that the kernel(s) have become corrupted?

Re: Please help, ALL UBE hangs on a \'W\' status

Try this:

To Stop:

1. Check server for active sessions
2. On an Enterprise Server open the Services Control Panel Applet
3. Select JDE Update 3 B733 Queue
4. Right-Click and select stop
5. Open Task manager
6. Sort alphabetically by image name
7. Wait for all killqueue.exe processes to end
8. Return to Services Applet and select JDE Update 3 B733 Network
9. Right-Click and select stop
10. Ensure that no OneWorld processes are still running:
a. jdesnet
b. jdesque
c. jdequeue
d. jdenet_k
e. jdenet_n
f. runbatch
11. If any of these processes are still running after three minutes, manually end the process using Task Manager

To Start:

1. On an Enterprise Server open the Services Control Panel Applet
2. Select JDE Update 3 B733 Network
3. Right-Click and select start
4. Open Task manager
5. Sort alphabetically by image name
6. Ensure at least one of each of the following processes are present:
a. jdesnet
b. jdenet_k
7. Return to Services Applet
8. Select JDE Update 3 B733 Queue
9. Right-Click and select start
10. Ensure at least one of each of the following processes are present:
a. jdesque
b. jdequeue

Note: Step 7 in the Stop Process is important.
