Business Views in JDE OneWorld Xe B7333

I hope I have not offended you in any way by justing pulling out your email address and emailing you out of the the blue.

If you are OK, please help me with something. I am very new to J.D. Edwards.

My question to you is: How do I determine a form's business view?

I am referring to an existing standard JDE form, eg. W09200A and not a newly created form.

I would appreciate your help tremendously.

To see the form's business view just simply:

Bring up the object, and from the form menu, chose form properties.

You have to go thru OMW to get the object.

Let me know if you are still not sure how to do this.

The business view associated with the form is V0911F
The easiest way to get this information is to have a developer look into it.
But if you are comfortable working with Object Management Workbench and the design tools then you can do this yourself. If there is an easier way please post a reply.
Fast Path to GH902
Open Object Management Workbench
Search for the application the form is a part of in this case P09200
Add it to the default project
Select the object and click on the Design option
Start Form Design Aid
Right Click on each form and select properties, in the window the business view will be displayed.
Close out of Form Design Aid without saving and remove the object from your default project.
If you are not comfortable working with OMW then don't and simply ask a developer...

In Form Design if you click the properties of the form you can see on
which business view the form is programmed.

If the cross reference is built you can view all business view
associated with the application.
