Hi there,
We have just this week implemented a Citrix server farm which has been going fine.
However this morning we noticed that if someone checks out an object, then logs out, and logs back on but gets directed to a different server, then they cannot check the object back in. The operation fails with the message "You cannot check this object in as it is not checked out on this machine" etc.

How are you guys managing things like this in a Citrix farm?

Thanks
Si

We only have one Citrix server for development. If you want to use more
than one you will need to "hard code" certain users to always connect to a
particular Citrix development server.

There are two solutions :

a) Don't develop on Thin clients. You may develop on remote fat clients
via PcAnywhere / CarbonCopy / etc.
b) Dedicate a specifical server of your Citrix farm to developers, that
way you'll avoid machine name ambiguity.
