Overnight jobs

Hi Jdelist,
Overnight job R41542 , R41543 and R41544 are looping,
continuing to run throughout the day even though the jobs start
from 4.17am . However progran runs fine when submitted manually.
What is the course of this and is there a fix ?
At the moment we are Terminating them everyday so that users can run
reports successfully.

If anyone has experienced this please help .

I've had that same problem on SP 16.0.
You should upgrade to more stable SP such as SP 19.1 that runs pretty
fine, or at least SP 15.1
I'm using SP19.1 on many Xe accounts and doesn't have the nasty
scheduler bug.

It may be worth checking out if the data selection is right on the overnight jobs. I have had a similar situation where scheduled overnight jobs did not run with data selection that they were supposed to. It turned out that the version of the ube that was scheduled was submitted by a user during the day with a different data selection. Submitting the same version with a different data selection changed the specs for that version on the server.
I prevented this from happening again by creating a copy of the correct version, with medium version security and scheduled that one.
