As noted in previous posts, we're going through an upgrade.

Among the things changing is that QTYINV data items
are going from zero to four display decimals.

I'm HOPING that the JDE migration tool will take care of this, however we are weeks away from our first migration.

Can anyone tell me whether my hope is justified?

Please and Thanks

So you have 0 decimals in XE and you want to migrate your data an go to 4 decimals during data migration process, is it correct?

Gene,

The answer is “NO”: JDE would not do this for you. I know, because I’ve been doing this as a remote service for many years.

Alex,

THANK YOU!
While not the answer I had hoped for, it is an answer.

Also, I will validate the email address.

Thanks again.

The correct path should be
1)Data upgrade with old DD
2)Update DD with new value
3)Manual sql update to correct the data (look at DOC 962481.1)
4)Test transactions on old date and new date
