Hello everybody,
does anyone tried the "mix" that we are pointing to ?
I mean : we are with WorldSoftware 7.3.10 and are planning to move our OS/400 from the current V5R4 to V6R1.
It is told to be a very big change : ALL JDE objects are going to be "converted" (recompiled ???) : fortunately Oracle supplies an automatic converter ...
Does anyone made the jump already ? Issues ? Problems ?

My preference is to use *PUBLIC *EXCLUDE. However, you also need to have your Soxlock reports submitted by a profile with enough authority to prevent those 16K pages of errors. This might entail giving that user *READ rights to the profiles. Is your CRTUSRPRF command secured? What do your auditors say about this? Where is your security officer? Have you read the IBM security manuals?
