Work Order / RMA / How to Return SETS (KITS) to Inventory Stock ?

We have a process where we LOAN DEMO sets/kits to prospective clients and then they are returned... Can anyone comment on the best processess for returning Items to stock that have NO COST and we also dont want any IT transactions created in the GL either?? ... Thanks!

Do you create a sales order for the 'loan'? Does the sales order have no cost?
You can do a negative sales order and bypass the RMA process. The line type on that negative sales order can determine its effect on inventory.
