Dears, There is a new Mfg. enhancement under TR 9.2.7.3 so-called as in the subject. However, I can't read the release document to know what it really means. I patched the JN20234 as requested but don't know how to test it to identify the difference before and after the ESU. Would someone help to shed the light and let me know the steps to test it out? Thank you!
Regards,
John

Here are the steps I have done try to identify how this enhancement should work:
  1. Created new manufacturing item JH001
  2. Created the BOM/Routing of JH001 with existing components and work centers.
  3. Run R30812 to simulate the cost components of JH001
  4. Created WO of JH001 and attached its P/L and Routing
  5. Issued the materials and recorded the labor hours of WO, and completed quantity to the WO
  6. Run R31802A final to have F3102 updated with current, planned, and actual columns (standard and completed columns are blank due to zero standard cost of JH001)
  7. Run R30835 (calls R30837) to generate the standard cost of JH001
  8. Assumed the two blank columns (standard, completed) of F3102 will be updated but they are still blank.
What steps can be wrong or missing, or I am misunderstanding the "zero cost" means here? Thanks!

I solved this issue by changing the PO of R30835 from "Single Level" to "Complete Update".
There is a Bug 27382383 - R30837 NOT WORKING WITH WORKFILE AND SINGLE LEVEL ROLLUP and indicated is fixed by JN20234. Not sure why I have patched this ESU but still got the issue, and is this because "Single Level" + "Cache" can be another bug?
