Where do i find the numeric shift information

I am new to JDE and trying to write some custom reports using a new reporting tool. This tool can see all of the JDE data, but the numbers are 10, 100, or 1000 times too big. I read that there is a "numeric shift" field that will tell me how far to the left I need to move the decimal. Where do I find this numeric shift field?

Are you referring to the display decimal value in the data dictionary?
