Using AIS to yield Outbound data

Hi folks,

AIS is used to interface with forms in E1. Is there anything stopping us using a Find Browse in Find mode to show the resulting grid records back out to an external system?

The reason I ask is, we would like a way to show some of our customers E1 data externally.

Hi John,

That's a fine example of what AIS can be used for. Imagine if that app was doing a lot of calculations/lookups for the grid rows, you'd be leveraging existing logic.

That's great news. Kind of suspected it could be used to do that, but just wanted to check before I beat my drum for it as a proposal
