Using a Wildcard in Report Writer

The following is an example of what I need to accomplish on various reports:

Where Order Type (F4211) [BC] is equal to 'SO'
and Sales Catalog Section (F4211) [BC] is equal to '
*7* '

Notice the wildcards before and after the "7." I know you can't do this
using data selection, does anyone have any workarounds?

Hi,

You can map the where condition of Sales Catalog
Section to a variable.

VA rpt_SalesCatologSection = '*7*'
Where Order Type (F4211) [BC] is equal to 'SO'
and Sales Catalog Section (F4211) [BC] is equal to VA
rpt_SalesCatologSection
