Upgrade OW73.2.2 to Xe

I have just made an upgrade from OW 73.2.2 to Xe. It worked more or less fine. The less is that custom changes in the event rules have not been added at the end of the event rule as remarked lines in JDE applications and reports. I set the mod flag TO C, the mrg opt to 1 and the system code to 55. Does anybody have any hints what could have gone wrong?

as far as i know system code 55 objects are brought forward unchanged and
unmerged (assuming the flags are set). to get the spec merge process to
append lines etc, you would have to modify the non sys 55 objects and set
the corresponding flags. sounds like the way you have brought the apps
through is probably the safest method anyway.

I'm confused Roland. Is it custom (net new) objects for which you had a system code of 55 and the ER did not come across for those objects ...

Was it JDE objects that you customized and also changed the system code to 55 from their original value.

I'm hoping you are going to tell me that the latter was the case.

Sorry the confusion, it is a JDE objects that we customized and also changed
the system code to 55 from their original value. We changed the system code
by SQL before the upgrade as it is described in the upgrade manual.

We have both kinds of UBE or APPL: there are where we changed the system code from eg 41 to 55 and others where did not change the system code. In any case, we did not renamed the APPL or UBE, eg the name of the modified P4114 is still P4114.
