Update Package Installation

Hi,

I am experiencing long delays in update package installation since SP13.3.
When it finally gets to installing the objects themselves the time is less
than a minute. The bottleneck seems to be when the installation manager is
finding installed components (10 minutes) and configuring shared files (8
minutes).

Does anyone know what is going on during these two steps and anyway of
improving the speed?
