We are trying to enhance our invoices and so far have been unsuccessful. Is there any help available? If you can point us in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Thanks for any assistance.

clubmck,
If you have a lot of experience in the RDA and still cannot get your invoices
looking the way you would like, you will have to look into a third party tool to
enhance your JDE output. We use Createprint and are happy with the performance
and reliability of the product. I would recommend it if your primary goal is
professional quality forms from within JDE. There are many other companies out
there, obviously you would want to investigate as many as possible.

Dave;

Main (minor) problem currently is the gap at the bottom of the po print
page: The printed text only covers the top 60 % of the page. Since then,
and I celebrated heavily over the weekend, I actually got on the line, last
week, a helpful HELPLINE person. They found a SAR that we will incorporate
after Mother ESU # 1.

This is the standard from JDE. We recently had a 3rd party vendor come in
and demo their forms software. It removes all these extra spaces that JDE
adds. It shrunk a 3 page PO into 1 page.

Dear Clubmck,

We, Enterprise Resolutions, offer an intelligent dynamic invoice solution
that will allow you to dynamically map your data to your invoice, so that
when it is printed, the invoice form is actually drawn to fit the data. We
offer both a World and OneWorld solution. You have the ability to enhance
the look of your documents any way you like. You have the ability to change
the fonts that your data prints in and even the location that it prints in.
You also have the ability to direct your output to be printed, faxed,
e-mailed, archived or web-enabled. If you would like more information you
can reach me at 678-584-1640 ext. 42 or reply by e-mail.

Best Regards,

Chuck Carey

What was the vendor that you previewed

This looks like advertisement... I suppose the list should not be used to do
this...

The list is designed to provide help for those searching for a solution to
their problem. It wasn't intended to be an advertisement. My response was
given after another product was mentioned. It is our intention to provide
information. It is up to the recipient to choose whether or not this
information is of value to them, as it is anytime a request is answered with
a solution. We believe that there are better ways of handling the way World
and OneWorld output data without having to modify the application software.

ccarey,

You try and lend a helping hand and get
your head chewed off ...
Never Mind ... Let them sort
it out for themselves
and re - invent the wheel if they need to.
Nothing is un-fixable if you throw enough
Effort, Time & Money at it...

-Been there done that got the t-shirt
