E9.2 UBE XML To PDF

Has anyone ever seen a situation where a UBE finishes correctly, but there is no PDF output? This is using BI Publisher. The XML is created and the job advances statuses, etc., but there is no end ouput. What could cause this?

I figured out what it was, in case anyone is interested. I had to pore through the XML, but I found a special character. This was created by a copy/paste process into a text attachment. Apparently, this character was not letting the PDF get created. Strangely, though, other similar UBEs (all based on the R42565) were processing this character without a problem.

Add symbols to prevent escaping
