Time and Date Stamp

Hi Lists,

We are in struggle that multi-plants around the world with different time zones. The server currently is in Asia and other plants in either Europe or US will suffer with their local time differ from the server time, and this makes the trouble for P4210 and some other applications if transactions happen.

Would you have any comments how to handle/solve this since I am sure we will not be the only one facing the Time Zone problems ! Thanks in advance for any feedbacks !

Hi,

I strongly suggest you to set all of your servers and
workstations to UTC (Universal Time, formerly known as
GMT or Greenwich Mean Time).
It's globally accepted, easy to setup in any server or
workstastion, and has none of the DST annoyances.
There are several MS tools for your Windows workstations
that allow you to work in one timezone (UTC) while showing
local time in another timezone.
