Table Definition

Hi guys! I'm writing from Argentina. I need to know a free tool or site where I can find the field definition for these tables: F0092, F9611, F9612, F0093, F0001, F0003, F0009, F0083, F0094, F98001, F98002.

Thanks in advance!

If you have a license to the JDE World product and can sign on, from any
menu you can enter 40 and press enter and then in the window you can
enter the file name and press enter. This will show you the field name,
description, field type, size and starting position in the file From
this window you can also do an F21 to print the data field and
attributes for the file.
If you do not have a license to use JDE World, you will need to contact
Oracle for this information.....anyone on this list giving out this
information to you could be violating proprietary information.

Ed,
At your iSeries command line, issue the command against the file that gives you the file field definition. If you are not on the iSeries (System i) or have the F0092 file, why are you interested in the file definition? Ask the owner of F0092 for its field definition.

Just do a DSPFFD i5/OS command against each file.

Re: RE: Table Definition

This is so helpful. I am fairly self/helpline taught and typically when I need file definition I go into world writer or work with files. I am SO glad I found this website. In a week I have already learned something just listening in!
