E9.2 Supply & Demand Pegging Inquiry

I'm seeing situations where an items dependent demand to a firm work orders, visible in both Supply & Demand and Time Series, is not showing in the Pegging inquiry. Shouldn't these Work Orders be part of the data set since they are contributing to the Demand included in MRP output?

Jeff,

You're right, it should be part of input to MRP. If MRP is run again, the issue should be gone. Suspect that a component of a firm work order was deleted once and added back later. When it was deleted, the pegging record might be deleted too. So TS remains same, S&D shows the demand from the part lists, pegging record is gone.

Thanks for the reply, Conbry. Everything you said makes sense. These are the types of issues that make users question the data in the system, and when the JDE people can't explain it it doesn't help the cause.
