Hi list,

one simple question about UBE's/jobs on a AS/400.
When start e.g. a report from OneWorld against the AS/400, this job will be
at a hold status at the AS/400 and I have to release it manually. How can I
fix this?

Kind regards

Bernd

Sounds like the job description that these are running under has HOLD(*YES) on it.

Unless you are talking about Print Immediate and how that works.

But I assume you really are talking about a job on the AS/400.

AW: submitted jobs AS/400

I'm talking about a job which was sent via OneWorld to the AS/400. Receiving
the AS/400 the job will then at status hold. This job never reach the
OneWorld-System at the AS/400.
By starting runube at the AS/400, OneWorld will get this job and will finsh
it (jobq i-active).

Kind regards

Bernd

Re: AW: submitted jobs AS/400

So on the Submitted job search you have an H for Hold on all jobs and they never run on the AS/400.

Try to find the JDENET_K job running that has this in the job log:

Job 985588/ONEWORLD/JDENET_K started on 01/26/01 at 06:29:11 in subsystem
JDEB7332 in B7332SYS. Job entered system on 01/26/01 at 06:29:11.
UBE Kernel

You can see the activity involved with UBEs being submitted. Perhaps a clue will be there. Although I would expect an "E" for Error. The "H" is bizarre.

Re: AW: submitted jobs AS/400

Are you queues processes active?
