Stored Procedures in JDE B7331

Has anyone written a stored procedure against the Enterprise Server using Seagate Crystal Reports. What I am trying to do is take 2 tables and create a third table of selected fields from the others. Can you put a stored procedure on the Enterprise Server and access it from Seagate.

am i missing something or could you just create a business view over the two tables, include the fields you wanted and not have to get down to the sql level at all.
