Stocking Type Question

What would be the 'standard' category for an item that is purchased and resold? Does JDE recommend make that an 'S' or a 'P' since it qualifies as both.

Jeff, in the UDC for Stocking Types (41/I), look at the values in Description 2. Its either M or P (Mfg or Purchased) to indicate the base behavior for the Stocking Type. Since S has a base of M (Manufactured) I don't think you want to set purchased items = 'S'.

Thanks for the clarification, Larry. I was only looking at the primary description and couldn't make up my mind which was correct.
